Character

Name: Harry James Potter
Canon: Harry Potter
Canon point: After repairing his old wand at the end of Deathly Hallows plus CRAU from Isle of Avalon
Age: Looks 17 but chronologically 18 due to CRAU

History: A Wild Magical Chosen One Appears!
CRAU History: Shortly after repairing his wand, Harry soon finds himself swimming for his life at the Bay of Avalon in early November 2020 brought upon to help the people there to unfreeze time and use their magic to bring stability back to the multiverse. There he gets to meet his familiar, a pink Pygmy Puff named Rose, and he discovers that he has gained kinetic magic when he first levitating some rocks without knowing while meeting one of his first new friends, Kyoko Mogami, during the first waves of otherworlders at the Bay of Avalon.

He first began to meet and/or befriend other people who also came from other worlds, like Donovan Deegan, Akira Kurusu, Tsuna Sawada, Gundham Tanaka, Hayato Gokudera, Princess Zelda, and Takao Kuzanari. Upon arriving at Camelot, he finds work as a cafe barista in the city center and he would finding himself taking on quests to help out others out and practicing his new magic in Avalon. Through the next 8 months, Harry slowly gains new friends with whom he can feel comfortable hanging out with, or at least can tolerate well, in Alice Liddell, Ken Amada, Claire Redfield, Sokka, Seto Kaiba, Archer, Anthony J. Crowley (who taught him to be a little bit mischievous), Li Min, Magnus Bane, Princess Aurora, Douxie Casperan, Lucy/Nyuu, Louis, Robyn Goodfellow, Suki, Jane Porter, Oda Nobunaga, Mona Meigus, Della Duck, Mamuro Chiba, Elza, and Ren Jinguji.

While much of his time in Avalon is mostly peaceful, there are times where he gets involved in events that could turn Avalon upside down when he participated in the Solstice Night Run and sprinkled water onto a rock at the Fae’s insistence, which then caused a harsh heavy storm raining down on Camelot which needed to be resolved by stealing the Black Knight’s sword (he was able to snatch it with Ken, Archer, and Claire) and bring it to Morganna the Mother of Faeries so she can restore the weather. He has some misgiving towards Celliwig initially after he and Akira retrieve the crystals for the Brave of Heart and Pure of Soul Mirror in January 2021 when the city, not impressed by the performance of the otherworldlers, decided to close its borders to the rest of Avalon and he didn’t look at them in a good light for months. He then joined tournaments in Camelot on that month, and while he lost in the competitions he was in, he still have fun and helped Akira in serving pretzels to hungry patrons, along with discussing his shaky relationship with Ginny to Magnus and Crowley.

Then things got weirder when he participated in a synchronous magic ritual in the next month and made a wish to protect the people he loved from home and in Avalon, which unfortunately translated to items repelling away from him during Camelot’s magical chaos later in the month and he accidentally gained Crowley’s demon powers which he used to good use in helping Tsuna in rounding up the many Reborns and assist Jean Kirsten and Robyn in taking on the orc bandits during the trip to the Archivist’s Home and he would join Li Min and Louis in the search for information regarding the chaos and a little bit more of the Arthurian myths. When things in Camelot got restored, he spent most of March and April laying low, being busy with work, joining Kyoko in her search for her fairy friend Corn in the forest and learning not to mess with fire magic when he gained elemental magic, which earned him a lesson about it from Zuko. Later on April, he goes into the library again with Lucy as his partner and they had a crazy time dealing with misbehaving ghosts and seeing a broken iron cage and teams up with Suki in relocating a beehive from the Red Spring; he also voted for letting Celliwig have their way by testing everyone with a series of trials.

May was proven to be just as eventful when he regained his owl friend Hedwig despite losing her at home on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts and helped out Jane in bringing shimmering holographic rocks for an ailing grandmother. During the Celliwig trials, he was tested in many ways: having to put on a show with Gokudera, joining Della and Claire in freeing a man from the stocks then needing Archer’s help to get out of there, needing Akira’s help to talk some sense into him before he was tricked into giving blood so he can see his parents again, having to do most of the stone hedge puzzle while Oda lazes about and later teaming up with Mona in doing the same puzzle, needing Noctis Lucis Caelum and Edelgard von Hresvelg to help him to get away from becoming otter siren lunch and latter coming to Tsuna’s aid when he was tempted by one, trying to help Zero in her plan to stop the old muscled man, and accidentally drinking the poison chalice after having a long conversation with Elza which had him thinking twice of drinking from it initially.

He wasn’t involved in Archer and Caster’s little war in early June while he was practicing fire magic with Sokka, getting a raise from work, and moving out of the starter inn into a small studio apartment within the city center. On the day of the Summer Solstice, he gets ‘kidnapped’ by Celliwigan representatives who whisked him away to the city after barely passing the previous month’s trials: he became ritual partners with Ami Mizuno, learns that he can actually sing well as pointed out by Della, and faced wisps-o’-will creating creepy versions of his family with Lucy and Mona. He does eventually got around to try singing as a hobby by taking part of Shining Karaoke’s Bimonthly Mingle in July, later Harry took part in Celliwig’s Top Talents Tourney, competing in Melee Mania, Familiar Feud and Vicious Vocals: like in the previous tournament, he didn’t win but he did have fun and got to unlock ice magic.

However just after the tourney, a seer named Gwion sent a text in the network, claiming that King Arthur was in grave danger, and Harry dismissed her, thinking that she was making up lies with time still being frozen. He assisted Glewlwyd in guard duty to stop everyone from raiding the Hall of Mirrors, which failed when the offensive broke into the hall and he has to find people and take them back outside when he saw Tsuna getting by his mirror reflection over his insecurities and he was there for him throughout most of the time. Now Harry was just about to head out to work again like he usually does one early August morning, only to step out of the flat and into Diatu’s arrival lobby. Poor Harry has been displaced within the multiverse again.

Personality:
  • Love: Despite being raised by horrible relatives growing up and having a prophecy looming over his head and a Dark Lord out to get him, Harry is still able to love against all odds. It is through this ability to love and care for others that would allow him to defeat Voldemort who has never experienced unconditional love. If he makes a connection with someone, he takes it very seriously, whether it’s with friends, family, or romantic interests. He cares for others and is willing to help out in any way he can. He’s even generous especially when he decides to give the Triwizard Tournament prize money to Fred and George so they can start their own business later on.
  • Brave: One of the traits sought out by Gryffindor; Harry has shown great courage and bravery against all sorts of threats and danger. Even when he is scared, he doesn’t let it show and will do what he can to stand up for what he believes in and to stay strong for the people he loves and cares for.
  • Temperamental: Unfortunately, this is a negative trait associated with his Hogwarts House. He has a nasty temper and he can lose it if he gets pushed far beyond his limit, even lashing out at people in the worst timing possible. Harry also has a tendency to let his emotions to get the best of him which does happen a lot in his series. While teenagers can get moody and emotional, he has people trying to get rid of him and there is a prophecy looming over him. The worst case where he suffers from this is during his Fifth Year with Voldemort’s rise to power, Umbridge ruling Hogwarts with an iron fist, most people not wanting to believe in him, and losing his godfather Sirius to his cousin at the end of said year. Luckily, he does get better in handling his emotions and temper, and while he does lose his temper from time to time, it’s not as bad compared to when he’s 13-15 years old.
  • Leader: While he doesn’t ask to lead people throughout his series, he always ends up taking on a leadership position. He’s well-aware of the duties and responsibilities that he has for the people around him and he does his best to guide and teach in any way he can. This is best exemplified in his time leading and teaching Dumbledore’s Army on his Fifth Year, being the Captain of Gryffindor’s Quidditch Team, and him being one of the main leaders of the Battle of Hogwarts. This is also a trait sought out by Slytherin House and why he was so close to being sorted to there.
  • Obsessive: Harry has a terrible habit of being focused on one thing most of the time and obsessing over certain people and things to the point that it’s unhealthy for him. Back at home, he has obsessed over trying to find the Deathly Hallows during the Horcrux Hunt and he even spied on Draco Malofy during his Sixth Year to see what the latter is trying to hide. This guy has a one-track mind that he couldn’t focus on multiple things at a time.
  • Survivor’s Guilt: Having been orphaned by war, raised by horrible relatives, dealing with unwanted amounts of fame, and becoming a war veteran before he could reach 18, Harry does suffer from a terrible mix of clinical depression and PTSD. He struggles not to feel over things he couldn’t control such as not being able to save the people he cares for and loves dearly and losing Sirius his godfather is the one that bummed him out the most as he has lost a father figure that he needed so much. The guilt still lurks in his mind even if he tries to hide it and he doesn’t want people to go through similar things like he did.
  • Ambitious: While he doesn’t seem to look like someone so driven to do anything to get to their goals, Harry is deep down ambitious to a fault. It is is one of the traits that almost got him sorted into Syltherin. With his goal set to stop Voldemort from taking over the Wizarding World, he is determined to get to his goals with whatever steps and measures he can get his hands on; sometimes even resorting to using some questionable things and methods to achieve them. This is even more highlighted upon with the facte he makes himself so unassuming that he never publicly boasts about his talents and skills most of the time.

  • CRAU Personality:
  • Social: Due to his rough upbringing and having to deal with with huge amounts of unwanted fame and being the Chosen One, Harry was for the mot part very introverted and was really socially awkward in public; unlike most Gyrffindors who are very outgoing, he prefers having a small close circle of friends and finding enjoyment in having close friendships. When he arrived in Avalon, he slowly begins to warm up to and be more social with people than he was in both worlds. He becomes close friends with Donovan, Kyoko, Akira, Tsuna, Takao, Zelda, Ken, Alice, Aurora, Claire, Archer, Li Min, Sokka, Robyn, Suki, Lucy/Nyuu, Della, Mona, Oda, Jane, Mamuro, and Ren. It does also help that he also worked as a cafe barista in Camelot for months and it slowly allows him to be more social the longer he stay in Avalon. While he is still an introvert and he does try to hide stuff from his past to keep his new friends safe, he’s at least more social and more willing to open up when needed than when he was at home.
  • Patient: As mentioned in the personality section, Harry has a tendency to be emotional and has a terrible case of trying to keep his temper and emotions in check. But over time, he is beginning to mellow down, though he does have his moments back home. When he came to Avalon, he soon discovers that he needs a lot of patience in order to master his new magic in there when he discovers kinetic magic from levitating rocks on the beach, along with working at a cafe and later when he accidentally set up a tree branch on fire upon getting elemental magic. Later on, he would meet many people from other worlds who have differing opinions and views than he and his relationship with Zero is an indication that he is slowly learning to tolerate and cooperate with other people who may not agree with him on some things, even willing to go along with her plans to go after the old man on the last day of the Celliwig trials much as possible before he has to resort to his own actions when needed. In addition, he actually got along with Seto Kaiba and Lucy despite them having different opposite personalities.
  • Cautious: Prior to coming to Avalon, Harry was very impulsive in making decisions, along with not thinking through and reconsidering his options and actions sometimes, which is a negative trait associated with Gryffindor. But ever since Avalon, he has become more cautious and has taken a more shrewd approach once he took on many quests all around Avalon. From tackling mischievous goblins to dealing with the Shadlin’s illusions to accidentally setting things on fire during his first months using elemental magic, he comes to realize that he has to be more careful with whatever next decision or step he might take. The one moment that he took note of it is when he and Ken Amada faced a monster in the central library and they have to get out of there since they just only have their primary magic and the library monster was super strong. Since then, he is more lenient in listening to other people’s ideas and be more careful with his surroundings, along with making decisions more carefully than he would have done back in his world. Even his conversation with Elza during the Celliwig trials did made him to think twice about taking the poison chalice before he accidentally took it, thinking that it was the bitter water chalice.
  • Industrious: Harry is not great in studying as hard as Hermione does. In fact, while he is shown to be a great student in several areas including Defense Against the Dark Arts, he does struggle in other areas with Snape being harsh on him and being weak in History of Magic. He even depends on Hermione and Ron to aid him in learning stuff just to pass and survive Hogwarts. But when he gets to Avalon, he doesn’t have either friend with him and he’s on his own to learn his new abilities in Avalon. So he would constantly practiced using the magic of Avalon, driven by his desire to help each world in any way he can.

  • Always Keep In Mind: While it’s undeniable that Harry’s a good person, he does have flaws and his emotions can get the best of him, he can lost it if pushed beyond his limits. He’s very infamous for sometimes acting like an arrogant prick unintentionally, jumps first before thinking twice, and has a tendency to obsess over futile things and matters. The man can be very judgmental, especially during his early Hogwarts years, though this has lessened over the years the longer he studies at the school. Also to note is that he has noble intentions and a good heart, but he too uses some questionable things in order to get to his goals. Of course, there is his infamous people saving thing that gets him blinded sometimes even if someone is not in danger.

Questions: Write an IC answer to the following questions:

What do you want to study at Diatu Magicademy? I would love to learn about the magic of this world and be able to use them. I’m very intrigued about how magic works in this place, and if I have to be honest, I would say I would love to Discovery, Glypics, or Thaumaturgy: they seem to have some similarities to the magic I have been learned back in my world.

If you knew you could go back to the moment you left, would you leave immediately or continue your studies for a while? As much as I want to stay here and continue my studies, I do have friends waiting for me and I do miss my world so much: we just went through a rough magical civil war and we need to rebuild everything from the ruins left behind by said war. I can’t just want to abandon the people I hold so dear to my heart and the school that I love so much.

If your enemy was at Diatu Magicademy, how would you react? I suppose that you’re talking about Vold-, I mean, Tom Riddle. Honestly, I would be surprised to see him again, but the first thing I will do if he does show up in here is that I would try to talk with him as civilly as I could: I already did it back on our last fight in my world. If he doesn’t want to continue the discussions and refuses to concede, then I have to fight him in a duel and do my best to protect the people I have meet in here and defend this school at any cost.

When is it acceptable to resolve a dispute by force? If I have exhausted every option I could think of to handle it as civilly as I can.

What should the supreme goal of any wizard be? Using my powers to help people in any way I can.
